Who we are

DeepCounterfeit (deepcounterfeit.com) is currently operated by its founder, an individual based in the State of Qatar. No company has been incorporated yet. Until a company is formed, the founder is the contracting party and data controller. When a company is formed, it will take over these Terms and our contracts (see “Assignment”), and we will update this page and notify paying customers. Contact: admin@deepcounterfeit.com or ceo@deepcounterfeit.com.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the DeepCounterfeit website, dashboard, API, MCP server, webhooks, evidence reports, pay-per-call (x402) endpoints and crypto checkout (together, the “Service”). By using the Service, creating an API key or paying, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service for an organisation, you confirm you may bind it, and “you” means that organisation. You must be at least 18 years old.

What the Service does

DeepCounterfeit automatically scans newly launched crypto tokens on the venues listed on our coverage table and flags tokens whose name, ticker or metadata appear to reference a company, brand, listed security or private company on our watchlist. For each flagged token we compute an automated risk score from public on-chain and market data (for example, how much supply the creator wallet bought at launch, same-block buying, volume and repeat launches by the same wallet). Coverage differs by venue and is labelled Live, Partial or Planned. It can change, and we do not guarantee that every token on any venue is seen.

Detections are probabilistic signals, not accusations

A “flag”, “alert”, “likely impersonation” label, severity or risk score is an automated, probabilistic signal produced by software rules from public data. It means a token may be posing as a brand and deserves human review. It is not a statement of fact, a legal determination, or an allegation that any token, creator, developer, wallet holder or other person has committed fraud, infringement, deception or any other wrongdoing.

  • Tokens can reference a brand lawfully, for example as parody, commentary, fan projects, news, or with the brand owner's permission. Our allowlists of genuine issuers are not complete.
  • Wallet addresses are pseudonymous. A wallet shown as a token “creator” is the address that submitted the creation transaction. We do not know, and do not try to establish, who controls it. One person can control many wallets, and one wallet can act for others.
  • Metrics such as “creator net SOL”, volume and trader counts come from data we recorded or from third parties, may be incomplete or delayed, and are lower bounds where stated.
  • A result of not_in_index, a low score, or no alert is not a safety rating or an endorsement of a token.

You are responsible for independently verifying any detection before relying on it, and for any action you take, including takedown requests, complaints, legal proceedings and public statements.

No investment, financial or legal advice

DeepCounterfeit provides brand-protection data. We are not a broker, exchange, investment adviser, financial institution or law firm, and nothing in the Service is investment, financial, trading, tax or legal advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell, hold, short or avoid any asset. Do not use alerts or scores as trading signals. Crypto assets are high-risk and you can lose all of your money.

The Service is not a “consumer report” and we are not a consumer reporting agency. You must not use it to decide any individual's eligibility for credit, insurance, employment, housing or similar purposes.

Acceptable use

You must not use the Service to:

  • harass, threaten, dox, stalk or intimidate any person, or try to identify, locate or contact the people behind wallets other than through lawful process (for example, legal requests to platforms or law enforcement);
  • publish or repeat our detections as statements of fact that a named or identifiable person committed fraud or another wrong. If you republish results, describe them accurately as automated “flagged” or “likely” signals, with the date and our disclaimer;
  • manipulate markets, or front-run, pump, dump, short or coordinate trading around alerts, or otherwise break securities, commodities or market-abuse laws;
  • file takedown or legal notices that you know or should know are false, or send notices on behalf of a brand you do not represent;
  • share API keys, exceed or evade rate limits, scrape the website, or resell or redistribute data except as allowed by your plan (resale needs a Wholesale data license);
  • probe, scan or attack the Service, or bypass authentication or payment. Good-faith security research reported privately to us is welcome (see “Security”);
  • break any law, including sanctions, export control, data protection and anti-money-laundering laws.

We may suspend or end access that we reasonably believe breaks this section, with notice where practical.

API keys and accounts

API keys are shown once. Keep them secret; you are responsible for activity under your key. We store only a one-way hash of each key. Tell us promptly if a key is compromised and we will deactivate it. Free keys and trials may be limited, changed or withdrawn at any time, and we may refuse or revoke keys created to abuse the free tier (for example, multiple trials by the same person).

Plans, fees and cancellation

Prices are listed on the pricing page in US dollars and exclude taxes. You are responsible for any taxes, duties and bank or network charges that apply to you. Paid plans are prepaid for the period you choose (monthly or annual).

  • Crypto-paid plans do not auto-renew. Your plan stays active until the end of the paid period, plus a short grace period, and then the key moves to the Free tier. To cancel, simply do not renew.
  • Card subscriptions (when available) renew automatically until cancelled. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
  • Fees are non-refundable, including for partial periods, unless the law that applies to you requires otherwise or we agree in writing.
  • Free trials last 14 days and do not convert to a paid plan automatically.
  • We may change prices for future periods with at least 30 days' notice to paying customers. Prepaid periods are not affected.
  • If you are a consumer in the EU, EEA or UK, you have a 14-day right to withdraw from a contract for digital services. By asking us to start the Service immediately (for example, by activating a paid plan), you agree that the Service starts during the withdrawal period and that you lose the right to withdraw once it has been fully provided. If you withdraw earlier, we may keep a proportionate amount for the period already provided.

Crypto payments and x402 pay-per-call

  • No custody. We never hold your funds, private keys or seed phrases, and we will never ask for them. Payments go directly from your wallet to our published receiving addresses. Our system only reads public blockchains to detect your payment.
  • Exact amount, network and asset. Send exactly the amount, asset and network shown on your payment request before it expires. Payments in the wrong asset or on the wrong network may be unrecoverable. We are not responsible for losses caused by sending to the wrong address, network or asset.
  • Payments are final. On-chain transactions cannot be reversed. Under-, over-, duplicate and late payments are flagged for manual review, never processed automatically. We will contact you, and at our discretion we may credit the amount or return it to the sending address minus network fees, where the law allows.
  • Fees and rates. You pay all network (gas) fees. USDC is accepted at face value (1 USDC = 1 USD). BTC amounts use the rate locked on the payment request for its validity period.
  • x402. Pay-per-call requests are charged per successful call in USDC and settled on-chain through a third-party x402 facilitator. A settled payment is final. If you were charged but did not receive a result, contact us with the transaction ID.
  • Activation. Plans are activated automatically after the confirmations stated on the payment page. Delays in third-party blockchains, RPC providers or facilitators may delay activation.
  • Sanctions and AML. See “Sanctions” below. We screen paying addresses against public sanctions lists and may refuse, hold for review or stop service for any payment linked to a sanctioned person, address or jurisdiction.

Sanctions and export control

You confirm that you, your organisation and anyone you act for are not (a) located, organised or ordinarily resident in a country or region subject to comprehensive sanctions (currently including Cuba, Iran, North Korea, and the Crimea, so-called Donetsk People's Republic and so-called Luhansk People's Republic regions of Ukraine), (b) listed on, or owned or controlled by anyone listed on, a sanctions list maintained by the United Nations, the United States (including the OFAC SDN list), the European Union, the United Kingdom or the State of Qatar, or (c) paying from a wallet linked to such a person. We do not provide the Service to such persons and may end access immediately. Where the law requires us to block or not return funds, we will comply.

Data sources and third-party services

We build the Service from public blockchain data (read through public RPC nodes and our own listeners) and public market-data APIs, currently including pump.fun's public endpoints, GeckoTerminal and DexScreener, plus DefiLlama for market-share statistics. We aim to use each source within its published terms and rate limits, and will stop or change a source if its operator objects. Links to explorers and third-party sites are for convenience; we do not control them. Third-party data can be wrong, late or unavailable.

Intellectual property and licence

We (and our licensors) own the Service, software, watchlists, scoring rules, compilations and reports. Subject to these Terms and your plan, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence during your subscription to use outputs for your internal brand-protection, security and research purposes, and to include specific results in takedown requests, complaints, client reports and legal proceedings about brands you own or represent. Resale, sublicensing or white-labelling is allowed only under a Wholesale data license or written agreement. Public blockchain facts themselves are not owned by us. If you send us feedback, we may use it freely.

Trademarks and no affiliation

Company names, brand names, tickers and trademarks shown in the Service belong to their respective owners. We use them only to identify tokens that appear to reference those brands, and to describe the alerts we produce for them (nominative use). Their appearance does not mean the brand owner is affiliated with, endorses, sponsors or is a customer of DeepCounterfeit, or that any brand owner has reviewed our results. We do not display brand logos. Brand owners may ask us to remove their brand from our public pages by writing to us.

Corrections, objections and takedown requests

If you believe a detection is wrong (for example, you are the genuine issuer, the token is authorised, parody or unrelated), or that content on our site infringes your rights, email admin@deepcounterfeit.com with:

  • the chain and token address (or page URL);
  • what you think is wrong and why, with any supporting evidence (for example, proof that you are the brand owner or authorised issuer);
  • your name and contact details, and your relationship to the token or brand.

We aim to acknowledge requests within 2 business days and to review them within 5 business days. We may correct, reclassify, annotate, add to our allowlist or remove the item. We may ask for verification and will not act on requests we cannot verify. Copyright notices (including under the US DMCA) should include the elements required by law: the work, the material and where it appears, your contact details, a good-faith statement, a statement under penalty of perjury that you are authorised, and your signature. We store token names and descriptions as published on-chain or by public APIs and do not host token images.

Security and responsible disclosure

Please report vulnerabilities privately to admin@deepcounterfeit.com. Do not access other users' data, disrupt the Service or make payments you do not intend. We will not pursue good-faith research that follows these rules.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties and conditions, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, non-infringement and uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not guarantee any detection rate, precision, uptime or takedown outcome. Uptime figures for Wholesale are targets, not guarantees, unless a signed agreement says otherwise.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law: (a) we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, trading losses, goodwill or data, however caused; and (b) our total liability for all claims relating to the Service in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us for the Service in that period, or USD 100 if you paid nothing. We are not liable for losses from trading or investment decisions, from actions you take against third parties based on the Service, or from blockchain, wallet, facilitator or network failures. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you will defend, indemnify and hold harmless the operator (and any successor company and its personnel) against third-party claims, losses and reasonable legal costs arising from (a) your breach of these Terms or of law, (b) your use or republication of outputs, including takedown notices, complaints, legal actions or public statements you make about any token, wallet or person, or (c) content or brand lists you submit.

Suspension, termination and changes

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or end your access for breach, non-payment, legal risk or security reasons, or discontinue the Service with 30 days' notice to paying customers (with a pro-rata refund of prepaid fees for the unused period if we discontinue without cause). We may update these Terms. For material changes we will give paying customers at least 30 days' notice by email or on this page. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.

Governing law and disputes

Governing law and venue: [PLACEHOLDER: to be set by counsel when the operating company is formed]. Until then, before starting any formal proceedings, both parties agree to try to resolve disputes in good faith for at least 30 days after written notice to admin@deepcounterfeit.com. Mandatory consumer-protection laws of the country where you live continue to apply to you.

General

Assignment. We may assign or transfer these Terms and any agreement with you to a company formed by the founder to operate the Service, or in a merger or sale, and will tell paying customers. You may not assign without our consent. Force majeure. We are not liable for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including blockchain, hosting or third-party API outages. Entire agreement. These Terms, the Privacy Policy and any order form or signed agreement (which prevails if it conflicts) are the whole agreement. Severability; no waiver. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Not enforcing a right is not a waiver. Language. English controls.

Company details: legal name, registered address, registration number and tax/VAT ID: [PLACEHOLDER: to be set by counsel when the operating company is formed].
